PHP Developer

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a candidate who has experience with PHP and can learn quickly. The role is positioned for a mid to senior level PHP Developer, but open for application to graduate level students

You work on

WordPress and WooCommerce environments for Business platforms. As a developer you will be working to build custom plugins, maintain existing Plugins, developing and modifying themes, or handling complex WordPress/WooCommerce environments.

You’re good at

  • Knowledge and ability to use WordPress Codex
  • Knowledge of how to use hooks, actions, and filters in PHP for WordPress & WooCommerce
  • Experience with WP REST API
  • Expert in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ideally REACT)
  • Experience developing WooCommerce Plugin
  • Creating Custom Post Types
  • Custom Parent & Child Theme Development

You Should have

  • Ability to work in team environments on Slack for collaboration
  • Code Management in Github Repositories
  • Understand Database structures: MySQL and writing SQL queries, syntax
  • Working knowledge of server/hosting stack and WordPress Multi-site implementations, etc.
